About Strivanta

Strivanta studies the business of indoor golf.

Strivanta exists to understand the business side of indoor golf better, and to turn that learning into useful tools and insight for the people running facilities. It is a small, focused effort, and the work is early.

The work

  • Conversations with operators

Owners, founders, and managers describing how their facilities actually run.

  • Market observation

Following how facilities price, program, and position themselves in public.

  • Operational research

Studying demand, utilization, recurring revenue, experience, and economics.

  • Pattern recognition

Looking for what repeats across very different kinds of indoor golf businesses.

  • Practical diagnostic tools

Turning what is learned into tools operators can use, starting with the Operator Index.

The Operator Index

The Indoor Golf Operator Index is the first of those tools. It helps an operator step back and look at the business as a system across demand, utilization, membership and recurring revenue, customer experience, and business economics.

It is a structured diagnostic based on your own answers, not an industry benchmark. Over time, anonymized and aggregated answers may support research on how indoor golf businesses perform, but only when the data can support it responsibly.

Who is behind it

Strivanta is led by Kary Youman, who is also developing HAVN Golf Club in Norway.

His work in indoor golf is centered on learning from operators, understanding how facilities perform, and exploring how better business models, technology, and customer experiences can strengthen the category.

How the work is done

Individual answers are treated confidentially, findings are reported only in aggregate, and nothing is presented as a benchmark until the evidence supports it. Research Standards · Privacy
