Research standards

Independent research requires trust.

Strivanta collects operator information for research and aggregate reporting. These are the standards that govern how that information is handled.

Research philosophy

Strivanta is building trust before it builds software. Research creates understanding. Understanding creates better decisions. Better decisions create better businesses. Software is simply one way trusted intelligence becomes useful.

Independence

Research is never written to sell products. Strivanta maintains editorial independence from sponsors, vendors, and its own future software plans.

Evidence before opinion

Public information, operator-reported observations, verified benchmarks, and interpretation are clearly distinguished from one another and never blurred.

Methodology matters

Every publication explains its methodology, sample characteristics, definitions, limitations, confidence, and unanswered questions. Transparency is part of the product.

Practical intelligence

Research exists to reduce uncertainty. Every publication should help an operator make a better business decision.

Long-term trust

Strivanta optimizes for credibility over attention. Being accurate matters more than being first.

The evidence hierarchy

Every Strivanta publication marks its claims against one of four evidence levels, so readers always know how much weight a finding can bear.

Public information

Published pricing pages, membership pages, and booking information anyone can verify independently.

Operator-reported observations

What operators tell Strivanta directly, self-reported and not independently verified.

Verified benchmarks

Findings confirmed across a sufficient, disclosed sample. Strivanta does not yet have benchmarks at this level.

Interpretation

Strivanta's own analysis and judgment, always labeled as interpretation rather than fact.

Handling participant data

Individual responses are treated confidentially.

Findings are reported in aggregate.

Public quotations require permission.

Sponsors cannot alter conclusions.

Identifiable participant information is not sold as lead data.

Participants may request deletion.

Sponsor independence

Sponsors cannot alter conclusions, remove unfavorable findings, access identifiable responses, contact participants without consent, or approve conclusions before publication.

Quotations

General participation consent is separate from quotation permission. Any quotation used publicly is either kept anonymous, shared back for approval, or published only with a participant's named approval.

Reporting

Reporting is limited to aggregate percentages, anonymized themes, ranges, and de-identified examples. Strivanta does not publish individual facility rankings without authorization.
